Novoair to resume Dhaka-Kolkata flights from March 27

Novoair will resume Dhaka-Kolkata flights from March 27.

The private airline will operate the flight on this route daily, Novoair said in a press release.

The daily flights will depart from Dhaka at 5:20 pm (local time) and leave Kolkata at 6:40 pm (local time).

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation of India has given permission to operate the commercial flights from March 27.

Earlier on March 25, 2020, commercial flights to and from Kolkata were suspended as per the DGCA of India directives to prevent Covid-19 infection.

However, considering the situation, special flights were operated between Bangladesh and India under the Air Bubble Agreement instead of commercial flights.
