Biman to launch flights on Dhaka-Guangzhou route

Biman Bangladesh Airlines has decided to launch flights on the Dhaka-Guangzhou-Dhaka route soon, considering the growing demand for passengers.

Officials of the national flag carrier today said they are hoping that the flight will be launched soon after completing the necessary procedures.

As part of this, the airline today inaugurated its office in Guangzhou, China, said a Biman press release.

Bangladesh Ambassador to China Mahbub Uz Zaman, Biman's Corporate Planning and Training Director Mahbub Jahan Khan, General Manager (Marketing) Mohammad Salahuddin, Representative of Biman's Business Associate Super Power Logistics in China, Philip Wu, among others spoke at the virtual programme.

"There are plans to launch flights not only to Guangzhou but also to other destinations in China in the future," said Mahbub Jahan Khan.

"Passengers' suffering will be reduced once the flights on the route is launched," said Mohammad Salahuddin.
