1,104 new Covid cases and 1 death recorded

The health directorate yesterday reported just one death from Covid-19, down from eight the previous day.

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) also reported 1,104 new cases.

However, the positivity rate increased to 12.20 percent from 9.66 percent the previous day.

This takes the total number of confirmed cases to 19.99 lakh and deaths to 29,250 lives.

In Tuesday's inoculation campaign, 56,37003 people received booster shots and 2,24845 their second dose of a vaccine, according to the DGHS.
