Shakib Khan, Bappy, Mim, and Bubly win big at Dhallywood Film & Music Awards 2021

Held on December 4 at New York, the 19th arrangement of Dhallywood Film & Music Awards 2021 was been graced with all the renowned artistes of the film fraternity.

Superstar Shakib Khan jointly bagged the Best Actor award with Bappy Chowdhury at the programme. The news was announced in a recent video posted in the actor's verified Facebook page. "The fact that this award programme has been running for 19 years is amazing, I am very happy for the honour," said Khan in the video.

Bappy posted a message on his verified Facebook page. "36 hours of journey, a bunch of tired stories, and a hectic day, but the day ends with a glowing moment of receiving such a prestigious award." He thanked the organisers of "Dhallywood Film & Music Awards 2021" for honouring him with the accolade and dedicated the award to his fans.

At the same time, popular film actress Shobnom Bubly, who received the Best Actress award, also posted on her verified page about her accomplishment. Alongside Bubly, Bidya Sinha Mim also received the Best Actress award.

"Every award is a source of inspiration for me. This accomplishment has brought about immense happiness to me, my fans, and my well-wishers. I promise to continue doing good work," Mim told The Daily Star. 

"I am really happy that I got to receive this award in the USA. The fact that our industry is being recognised with such awards is amazing. I would like to send out my love to my fans for their immense support," added Bubly. 

 Renowned singer Sabina Yasmin was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement award at the event.
