‘Otithi’ arrives on Chorki today

Promising director Farhad Shahi's web fiction, "Otithi", starring Manoj Pramanik and Sanjida Preeti, will premiere on Chorki tonight. The poster and trailer of the web project was released on Chorki's official Facebook page and YouTube channel, recently.

"Otithi" revolves around themes such as social class, parenthood, emotional anxiety, righteousness conscious, poverty, and love. "I always wanted to present the struggle for money and love in a parallel dimension and this production is based on that thought," shares director Farhad Shahi, from Rome.

The director also shares his experience of working with Manoj Pramanik and Sanjida Preeti. "Alongside their impeccable performance during shoots, their sincerity, professionalism and sense of commitment has mesmerised me," he says.

The web original also features A K Azad Shetu, Sushama Sarker, Abdullah Rana, Jaynal Abedin Khan, Farzana Mukto, Nowshad Akram, and Alam Anwar.

With Asaduzzaman Abir's story and script paired with Golam Maola Nabir's cinematography, the trailer of the production looks promising.

Muhammad Tasneemul Hasan is the editor of the production while Rashaduzzaman Shohag is behind the colour grading.

The music and background score is done by Sohan Ali, under Ripon Nath's supervision with Rony Sazzad as sound designer.
