Allu Arjun rejects movie with Shah Rukh Khan
After "Pathaan's" smashing success, word around the B-Town was that Shah Rukh Khan will soon star in Atlee's directorial "Jawan" alongside Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi. Moreover, "Pushpa" famed actor Allu Arjun was also approached by the creators for a cameo in the film.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. According to Pinkvilla however, Arjun has reportedly turned down the offer to star along King Khan for various reasons, a major one being his much awaited film "Pushpa 2".
"The narration happened with the makers but Allu Arjun couldn't say yes to the film due to his blocked schedule. AA has been training rigorously to get into the skin of his character for 'Pushpa: The Rule' and for the next few months, he is only going to focus on it. Pushpa-2 shoot is underway at a fast pace with two major schedules wrapped in Vizag and Hyderabad," revealed a source.
They also added, "Allu Arjun did take his time to think about Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan', where he was offered a small yet impactful role but it's quite difficult to choose over 'Pushpa'."
Slated to release on June 3,2023 "Jawan" will mark Nayanthara's debut into the Hindi film industry, along with Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist of the film.
