Dhaka Drama Festival concludes today

Marking the 37th founding anniversary of theatre troupe Dhaka Drama, a four- day (March 14-17) theatre festival concludes today at Experimental Theatre Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy. Apart from discussions and cultural programmes, the festival features the staging of a play everyday.
 On the opening day (March 14), Dhaka Drama staged “Chhayabrikkha” while Subachan Natya Sangsad staged their much acclaimed production “Mahajon-er Nao” on March 15. Yesterday Aranyak Natyadal staged “Kabor”. With their production “Shesh Sanglap”, theatre troupe Somoy will wrap up the festival today.
 The organisers also remembered playwright Kalyan Mitra, creative publisher Chitta Ranjan Saha, theatre personality Abdul Gani Khokon and organiser Dewan Aminur Rahman Dulu through various programmes at the festival.
