Two die of coronavirus symptoms in Khulna, Bogura
At least two people died in Khulna and Bogura with coronavirus symptoms since yesterday evening.
Officials are testing their samples for Covid-19 and have placed their homes under lockdown.
In corona isolation ward of Khulna Medical College Hospital, a 52-year-old man died early today. He hailed from Fultola upazila and died an hour after he got admitted at the hospital around 1:00am, our Khulna correspondent reported quoting Dr Shailendronath Biswas, spokesperson of the hospital.
He had fever, cough and breathing problems, the doctor said, adding that the deceased was a kidney patient.
In the isolation unit at Bogura's Mohammad Ali Hospital, a 45-year-old man died with Covid-19 symptoms yesterday evening.
He was suffering from fever, cough and shortness of breath since last Friday and died around 5:00pm, an hour after being admitted at the hospital, Shafique Amin Kajal, residential medical officer (RMO) of the hospital, said.
The man was working at a filling stating in Bogura, the doctor said.
"We have collected his samples. We did the janaza for the deceased in our hospital and sent the dead body to his village for burial," said the RMO.
