Bhola district judge airlifted to Dhaka for Covid-19 treatment
Bhola's District and Sessions Judge ABM Mahmudul Haque, infected with Covid-19, has been brought to Dhaka by a helicopter today for better treatment after his health condition deteriorated.
Mahmudul Haque has been admitted to Universal Medical College Hospital, a law ministry press release said today.
After being informed about the health condition of Judge ABM Mahmudul Haque, Law Minister Anisul Huq took necessary measures through talking to the principal secretary to the Prime Minister's Office, principal staff officer of the Armed Forces Division and director general of the Directorate General of Health Services to bring Judge Mahmudul to Dhaka, according to the press release.
Judge Mahmudul was receiving treatment in isolation at his residence in Bhola since June 12 after he tested positive for the virus.
