4 including doctor test positive for Covid-19 at BITID

Four people, including a physician, tested positive for coronavirus yesterday, according to tests conducted at the Bangladesh Institute of Tropical and Infectious Diseases (BITID).

The doctor who has tested positive was stationed at Fatikchhari upazila health complex, said Sheikh Fazle Rabbi, civil surgeon of Chattogram.

BITID yesterday tested 165 samples, of which four turned out to be positive for coronavirus, the civil surgeon said.

Two of the other Covid-19 patients diagnosed hail from Lalkhan Bazar and Balurchora areas of the port city while another from Laxmipur, he added.
