How to get your HSC answer scripts rechecked [Update 2023]
The results of the 2023 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent exams have been published today. Students who are unsatisfied with their marks will have the chance to get their answer scripts rechecked by following a certain procedure within a given timeline, which is usually one week. This year, rechecking applications must be done by December 03, 2023.
Here's the step-by-step process on how to get your HSC scripts rechecked:
Step 1
First, you need to have a Teletalk prepaid SIM card ready as this is the only authorised mobile operator for this process.
Step 2
Once your phone is set, go to the message option and type RSC <space> first three letters of your board <space> roll number <space> subject code and send it to 16222. If you want to get more than one paper rechecked, type the subject codes using comma (,).
Step 3
When you've sent the message, Teletalk will send you a reply mentioning the amount of money that'll be needed for the application process and a PIN code that you must preserve. This amount will be deducted from your mobile balance.
Step 4
After you've received the code, type RSC <space> Yes <space> PIN code <space> Contact Number and send it to 16222.
BDT 150 will be deducted from your mobile phone for the application for rechecking each paper.
One thing that needs to be clarified is that rechecking the exam scripts doesn't imply that the scripts are going to get re-evaluated. Rather, the marks will just be recounted and the examiner will look for any mishaps in numbering.
