LG Electronics plans to supply 2,000 digital boards to pry schools across the country

In a bid to enhance interactive learning through multimedia-based teaching, LG Electronics has announced its intention to supply around 2,000 digital display boards to primary-level schools across the country.

The announcement was made yesterday during an event held at a private hotel in the capital, attended by key stakeholders from both the government and private sectors.

"This initiative with advanced technology in classrooms can significantly improve the learning experience," said Mohammad Robiul Awal, head of Information Display Solutions at LG Electronics Bangladesh.

"These digital boards will offer innovative features, making teaching and learning more effective than traditional classroom boards," he added.

Gerald Sangho Chun, managing director of LG Electronics Bangladesh, stressed the need for greater collaboration between the government and private sector to expand the use of technology in education.

He reaffirmed LG's commitment to working closely with educational institutions to drive digital transformation.

Speakers at the event noted that adopting modern technologies like digital displays would play a crucial role in the development of Bangladesh's education sector.

They hope that this initiative could pave the way for further technological advancements in both public and private institutions.

Several individuals were honoured with commemorative crests for their contributions to promote technology adoption in education.

Among others, Ashiqul Islam, head of media solutions at LG Electronics Bangladesh; Tony Ang, sales director; and Jackie Jiang, product director of LG Electronics Singapore Pte Ltd, were present at the event.
