Mercantile Bank opens relocated Nayabazar branch

Mercantile Bank PLC opened its relocated Nayabazar branch at Salambia Chowdhury Market on Zindabahar 1st Lane in Nayabazar, Dhaka on Sunday, offering modern banking services to its customers.

Akram Hossain Humayun, vice-chairman of the bank, inaugurated the branch as the chief guest, according to a press release.

Mati Ul Hasan, managing director of the bank, presided over the programme, while Mosharref Hossain, a director of the bank, attended the inauguration ceremony as the special guest.

Shamim Ahmed, deputy managing director of the bank, and local businessmen Md Nurul Amin, Md Monir Hossain, Md Jahangir Alam, and Chowdhury Golam Sobhani spoke at the event.

Md Aliullah, head of the branches division, and Md Zillur Rahman, head of the Nayabazar branch, along with other senior officials of the bank and customers, were also present at the event.
