Al-Arafah Islami Bank holds 463rd board meeting

Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC held its 463rd board meeting on Tuesday at its head office in Dhaka.

Khwaja Shahriar, chairman of the bank, presided over the meeting, according to a press release.

The meeting reviewed the bank’s overall business performance. It also took several policy decisions.

Md Shahin Ul Islam, Md Abdul Wadud, Prof Mohammed Abu Eusuf and Mohammad Asraful Hassan, directors of the bank, attended the meeting. Mohammad Anisur Rahman, director of the Islami Banking Regulations and Policy Department (IBRPD) at Bangladesh Bank, joined the meeting as an observer.

Mohd Rafat Ullah Khan, managing director and CEO of the bank, Mohammad Moniruzzaman, company secretary, and senior executives were also present at the meeting.
