Ficci’s special event on Nov 21 to celebrate 50 years of Bangladesh
The Foreign Investors' Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Ficci) will organise a programme on November 21 to commemorate the 50 years of Bangladesh's Independence.
A discussion will be held on the planning of foreign direct investment and how it will facilitate the economic progress of the country with three growth drivers, according to a press release.
A research paper styled "3 Growth Drivers of Bangladesh: Accelerating investment opportunities in agribusiness, digital economy and green finance" will also be unveiled at the event.
MA Mannan, minister for planning, will grace the event as the chief guest and Salman F Rahman, adviser to the prime minister on private industry and investment, will join the programme as the special guest.
Shwapna Bhowmick, executive committee member of the Ficci, will preside over the event.
Rupali Haque Chowdhury, president of FICCI; MHM Fairoz, vice-president; Naser Ezaz Bijoy, executive committee member, and TIM Nurul Kabir, executive director, will also be present.
