Banking hour 9:30am-2:30pm during Ramadan

Banks in Bangladesh will remain open from 9.30am to 4pm in every working day in the month of Ramadan, which, according to Bangladesh Islamic Foundation, will begin on April 3.

However, people will be allowed to make banking transactions from 9.30am to 2.30pm, according to a circular issued by Bangladesh Bank today.

The weekend will remain the same: Friday and Saturday.

The banking regulator also said the office and banking hour will return to their earlier time table after the end of the month of Ramadan.
