The launching ceremony of Maleka Khan’s book, Jamdani: Bangladesher Bisshonondito Oitijjo, took place at Bangladesh National Museum (BNM) recently.
Launching ceremony of ‘Oporajeyo Muhammad Jahangir’ held
The memoir, Oporajeyo Muhammad Jahangir, in remembrance of prominent cultural activist, media personality and journalist Muhammad Jahangir, was launched at Bishwo Shahitto Kendro on February 29. The event was hosted by dancer duo Shamim Ara Nipa and Shibli Mohammad from Nrityanchal.
‘Theatre Cycle’ introduced at DU
Recently, ‘Theatre Cycle: Arts, Action, Change’ officially inaugurated their group and staged the play, ‘Roots and Wings’, originally written by Terry Roueche.
