Inter-School Drama Festival held at Scholastica
A two-day Inter-school Drama Festival concluded on March 24 at Scholastica Uttara Senior Section. The festival was held at the school's STM Hall where well- known schools and college from Dhaka city participated, according to a press release.
Two plays were staged at the school auditorium on the last day of the event. Participants from Scholastica Senior Section, Uttara, staged "Sowat" - written by Mamunur Rashid. A group of teachers from the school directed the play, which was a plot taken from our Liberation War. Students from Viqarunissa Noon School and College presented Shukumar Roy's humorous compilation "Abol Tabol", directed by Evan Riaz.
"Muktir Shandhane" was staged on the first day - marking the beginning of the festival. Students from Notre Dame College presented the play, written and directed by Md. Akhteruzzaman. Students of International Turkish Hope School enthralled the audience with their presentation of "Khepa Paglar Pechal", which was written by Solaiman Hossain and directed by Shaheen Hossain.
Scholastica School's Principal Brigadier General (retd) Kaisar Ahmed and Senior Vice Principal, Sabina Mostafa spoke and delivered vote of thanks.
