The crown (Tiara) unveiling ceremony of Miss Universe Bangladesh was held yesterday, at the Amisheé Fine Jewelry flagship store in Gulshan. The judges of the competition, Tahsan Khan and Kaniz Almas Khan, were present there to reveal the crown. Also present were Rokeya Sultana, Head of Business, Amishee, and Rizwan Bin Farouq, Chairman of Miss Universe Bangladesh.

Tahsan expressed his excitement for being a part of this contest.  “I am very appy to be a part of the first edition of Miss Universe Bangladesh. I have been involved in beauty pageants for the last 12 years, and I am very pleased to say that this competition has the best top 10 contestants I have seen till date. I wish them the best,” he says.

“Our brand, Amisheé, represents individualism, power, strength and charisma of women,” says Sohana Rouf Chowdhury, the brand’s Managing Director. “We are looking forward to seeing this crown adorn the most deserving candidate, who will represent the country on the global arena in South Korea. My heartiest best wishes to all the participants.”

The Grand Finale of the first Miss Universe Bangladesh beauty pageant will unfold on October 23, 2019, with the winner to be crowned by the elegant Sushmita Sen.
