Film “Tumi Robe Nirobe” on Channel i

Marking the upcoming 76th death anniversary (August 6) of Rabindranath Tagore, Channel i is airing film “Tumi Robe Nirobe” today at 1:05pm. Mahbuba Islam Shumi makes her film direction debut with the film based on a Rabindranath Tagore story, which stars Bhashwar Chatterjee and Amrita Bannerjee from West Bengal, India and Tanjin Tisha and Irfan Sajjad from Bangladesh.
The story is a triangular love story, among Shashank and Sharmi, a married couple with no children, and Sharmi's younger sister Urmi. When Urmi's wedding is in the talks, Shashank realizes he is in love with Urmi, and at a point Sharmi also finds out about it.
