Redoan Rony set to bring ICE-CREAM

Staff Correspondent

National award-winning film director Redoan Rony is working on his new film titled “Ice-cream”. This is second film by Rony after his first film “Chorabali” became a megahit at the box office.

Unlike “Chorabali” that boasted a heavyweight cast, “Ice-cream” features new faces in the lead roles. Three youths -- Tushi, Raj and Uday -- will appear for the first time in front of camera.

“I want to do something with the newcomers; they are very promising. We are grooming them. They have the potentials to lead the industry in future,” Rony said.

The entire “Ice-cream” team will set out for Saint Martin's Island on March 5.

The film, being tagged as a modern love story, promises to offer fresh entertainment to the film-goers. The film will release under Ping-Pong entertainment.

Earlier in 2012, Rony's first film “Chorabali” won National Awards in five categories.
