Police arrested 1,571 people, including two listed criminals, on various charges from different parts of the country in the last 24 hours till 6.00am yesterday.
During the period, the law enforcers recovered 20 firearms, four other weapons, 38 bullets and four explosives and filed 10 cases against 19 people under Arms Act, says a police headquarters press release.
