Dhaka Nagar Padak 2004 introduced

Mayor Sadeq Hossain Khoka made this announcement at a press conference at Nagar Bhaban in the city yesterday.

Nominated organisations and individuals for this year are Nirapod Sarak Chai Andolon for social welfare, Wari Club for sports, Dhaka Ahsania Mission for healthcare services and Nurjahan Begum for culture and literature.

Khoka said that this award would be given from next year.

The prize comprises a gold medal and Tk 50 thousand in cash.
