The decision came following a discussion between the finance ministry and the textiles and jute ministry.

Earlier, the authorities allowed only three diploma institutes to run the second shift, prompting the admission seekers to go on rampage at one of the institutes that did not get the go-ahead.

Textiles Department will complete the admission formalities for the second shift soon after a discussion with Bangladesh Technical Education Board, said a press release.

It has urged the admission seekers to refrain from any such untoward incidents.
