Free eye camp begins in city
A weeklong free cataract operation camp began at Bangladesh Lions Foundation Auditorium in the city yesterday, says a press release.
A total of 300 selected poor and destitute cataract patients from Dhaka, Chittagong and Netrokona would be treated in the camp sponsored by a Pakistani charitable organisation Feroza Hasham Foundation.
The operations will be performed at Lions Eye Hospital by its own eye surgeons.
