Victory Festival begins in city today

On the first day of the festival, Unesco Representative Wolfgang Vollmann will deliver a speech at 5.00pm.

Dr Anisuzzaman, Syed Samsul Haq, Rashid Haider and Aly Zaker will read out eyewitness accounts of the Liberation War, collected by students, while singer Mita Haq and students of Zil Bangla Chinikal High School of Jamalpur will perform at the programme.
