Emirates SkyCargo reaches out to flood victims

Despite heavy payloads on the Boeing 747-400F, Emirates SkyCargo transported the goods from Gothenburg to Dhaka via Dubai on behalf of the non-governmental organisation (NGO) Lifebuoy Friendship Hospital.

Ahmad Al Falasi, Area Manager, Dhaka said "We didn't hesitate to help when we were approached by Lifebuoy Friendship, which initiated major charity projects for the poor and needy of Bangladesh, including flood relief.

Runa Khan, Executive Director of Lifebuoy Friendship, said: "Our cargo of vital medical supplies from Gothenburg has reached us safely and we thank Emirates SkyCargo for their contribution to this worthy cause.
