Geological Society executives
A 21-member executive committee of Bangladesh Geological Society was elected with Prof. Monirul Haque and Prodeep Kumar Sen Gupta as president and general secretary, says a press release.
Other office-bearers are vice-presidents- Dr. AHM Shamsuddin, Dr. S Shamsuddin Ahmed, Md. Lutfor Rahman Chowdhury; Joint Secretary- Kazi Shafiul Hossain; Treasurer- Sirajur Rahman Khan; Office Secretary- Sirajul Islam Khan; Cultural Secretary- Aurpan Kumar Mitra and Publicity and International Secretary- Munir Hossain.
