AL council missing Hamid

The 20th National Council of the ruling Awami League is missing one of its senior leaders and that is the President of Bangladesh, Abdul Hamid.

“He is now the president. Don’t know how he is feeling right now. He is now stuck in a cage,” a councillor, who attended the council, said quoting Prime Minister and the AL chief of AL Sheikh Hasina.

She fondly remembered Hamid, the former AL president of Kishoreganj district unit, when she called the name of the unit’s present president Kamrul Islam for his speech.

The premier was addressing the second and final session of the 20th National Council of the party at Institute of Engineers Bangladesh (IEB) in Dhaka.
