Shakib Khan has spoken up about allegations that tie him to incidents of sexual misconduct and even rape.

Speaking to The Daily Star about the situation, Shakib said, "Is this a very simple matter? That a case will be filed against me in Australia and I would be able to return home so easily? After returning to Bangladesh, I went to Australia again. No one in Australia's administration seems to have any idea about these allegations. This Rahmat Ullah person is trying to harass me falsely. He is a fraud. What he is showing as the alleged case number is actually the event number. Everything will be cleared within the next couple of days."

A few days ago, a person named Rahmat Ullah filed a written complaint against Shakib Khan with three film societies of Bangladesh. Among the complaints was the allegation of sexual misconduct by Shakib Khan against an Australian woman, who was a co-producer on the film, "Operation Agneepath".

Earlier today (Sunday), in the afternoon, Shakib Khan went to the Detective Branch, of the Metropolitan Police office, to lodge a complaint against Rahmat Ullah. Yesterday, the Gulshan police station did not accept his case and instead advised him to file a case in court.
