Hosts and heavyweight contender New Zealand today beat West Indies in a robust fashion at Wellington to move to the semifinal of the ICC cricket World Cup 2015.
Smack with a brutal double century from Martin Guptill, New Zealand heaped a massive 393 runs and followed up with Boult's four-for to seal a big win before the home crowd.
West Indies, they could do little with the flattening received when bowling but provided an entertaining run chase – losing too many wickets in the way to slump in defeat.
Marlon Samuels would blame himself for the onslaught he brought on to West Indies when he dropped Guptill at four early into play after New Zealand chose to bat.
Martin Guptill became the first New Zealander, fifth man in the world and the second in a World Cup match to have scored a double century today.
West Indies' success moments were in the early phases with the prize wicket of Brendon McCullum cheap. Since then, it was all Martin Guptill.
Jerome Taylor claimed three wickets with Andre Russel claiming two.

Coming down to bat, West Indies went on a flurry to start proceedings and it looked like Chris Gayle had retouched his 'Gayle Force' base for a brief period of time.
But, Trent Boult did the damage from other end – claiming four wickets in a straight 10-over spell that broke the backbone of the West Indies run chase.
Refusing to back down in hermit defence, the entire West Indies batting lineup went down after a brief flurry that provided the crowd with entertainment.
Apart from Boult's four-for, Tim Southee and Daniel Vettori ended up claiming two wickets apiece with Adam Milne and Corey Anderson taking one wicket each.
Martin Guptill was made player of the match.
