The Anti-Corruption Commission has rejected the reinstatement application of sacked deputy assistant director Sharif Uddin.

The ACC yesterday (May 17, 2022) issued a letter in this regard signed by ACC Director General (Administration) Ziauddin Ahmed.

On February 27, Sharif submitted an application to the ACC chairman for reinstatement in the job.

Earlier on February 16, ACC gave Sharif Uddin stand release as per 54 (2) of ACC (staff) rules, 2008.

Sharif Uddin had reportedly been conducting investigations into corruption allegations against different offices and hospitals.

He was posted at the ACC Chattogram office for three years before being transferred in 2021.
