Urvashi Rautela copies attire at Cannes, gets trolled

Urvashi Rautela has been making headlines for her glamourous attires and stunning looks at the red carpet of the 76th Cannes Film Festival. According to many, she has been the most visible Indian celebrity at the festival this year. From the opening day, the former Miss Diva Universe (2015) has donned lavishing new getups every day.

On the sixth day of the event, the "Pagalpanti" actor walked on the red carpet, wearing a parrot-green floor-length feather and sequined gown. The dress complemented with an exquisite feathery headpiece. Designed by Ziad Nakad, the attire is from his Spring Summer 2023 Couture Collection.

Interestingly, the same dress was worn by Mexican actor Victoria Bonya at the opening ceremony of the Cannes Film Festival. Ever since Urvashi posted her look on Instagram, netizens have been trolling her for 'copying' Victoria's dress.

While many have shared their thoughts if Cannes Festival have become a fashion show in recent years. Earlier on May 21, noted Indian actor and filmmaker Nandita Das revisited her memories of attending the world's most prestigious film festival. She posted some throwback pictures stating that, "Sadly missing Cannes this year. Sometimes people seem to forget that it is a festival of films and not of clothes!"
