Priyanka to star alongside Idris Elba, John Cena in next action film

Priyanka Chopra is ready to make her OTT debut on Amazon Prime with the spy thriller web series "Citadel".However, the actor has already signed another contract with Amazon Studios. She will next be seen in the action movie "Heads of State," alongside actor Idris Elba and former professional wrestler John Cena. 

The filming of "Heads of State" is scheduled to start in May, according to a report on Deadline. The script was written by Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec based on a story by Harrison Query, and it will be directed by Ilya Naishuller of "Nobody" fame. The source also makes the suggestion that the movie will be similar to "Air Force One" and "Midnight Run".

Priyanka is also preparing for the premiere of her other Hollywood movie, "Love Again," which also stars Sam Heughan and Celine Dion, in addition to "Citadel." In May of this year, it will be released. Additionally, she co-starred in the movies "Ending Things" with Anthony Mackie and "Jee Le Zaraa" alongside actor-director Farhan Akhtar.

Prior to beginning the marketing for "Citadel", Priyanka was recently spotted at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center's opening in Mumbai. Following the weekend's two-day NMACC inaugural celebration, Priyanka attended the Mumbai premiere of "Citadel" on Tuesday. Richard Madden,her co-star, joined her.

 On April 28, the first two episodes of the series will make their international debut on Amazon Prime in 40 different languages. Later, more episodes will be made available.
