I felt like a doormat in relationships before Nick: Priyanka

Priyanka Chopra has been vocal about her admiration for her husband Nick Jonas and how he supports her. However, in a recent revelation, she spoke about her past relationships and how they made her feel powerless and submissive like a 'doormat'.

In a recent episode of the "Call Her Daddy" podcast, Priyanka Chopra talked about her past relationships and how they made her feel like a "doormat". She revealed that she used to jump from one relationship to another without taking any break in between. She also admitted that she had a tendency to date actors she worked with or people she met on set, as she had a preconceived notion of what a relationship should be like and tried to fit people into that mold. Despite this pattern, she considers herself a monogamist and is now happily married to Nick Jonas, who she says is her biggest supporter.

"My husband makes me feel so seen and so heard and in fact, he thrives on seeing me shine, like he is the most excited about the shows I am doing, he is the most excited when I am on a carpet, he will step aside and he will take pictures of me," Priyanka shared while adding that Nick is everything a woman would want in her partner.

After a two-years relationship, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra tied the knot in 2018. They are now the proud parents of a daughter named Malti Marie Jonas.

She will be soon seen in the romantic-comedy "Love Again" alongside Sam Heughan. The movie is slated to release tomorrow.
