A new routine of the Secondary School Certificate exams scheduled to begin on September 15, has been announced.

In the new routine, practical tests will be held between September 10 and 15, said an inter education board order today (July 31, 2022).

Students will take the Bangla first paper test on the first day of the exams, which will start at 11am.

They will take tests on more subjects this year compared to last year.

This year's SSC theoretical test will end on October 1, according to the education board's new routine.

The exams were scheduled to begin on June 19 but it was postponed due to flood situation in the country.

Earlier, it was deferred by about four months because of the coronavirus pandemic. Usually, the SSC exams take place in February.

Like the previous year, SSC exams this year will also be held on a shortened syllabus and for fewer marks than usual.

Last year, SSC candidates sat for tests on only three optional subjects with a shortened syllabus and fewer marks due to the pandemic.

This year, candidates will have to sit for tests on Bangla, English, Mathematics, and a fourth subject, besides the three optional subjects.
