Education Minister Dipu Moni today told Parliament that allegations of failing to reopen for fear of "student movement" is comical.

"There is nothing more ridiculous than this," she said while participating in the discussion on passage of Kurigram Agricultural University Bill-2021 in Parliament.

She said Awami League was engaged in movement throughout its life and brought back democracy by waging movements.

She also said "People are with this government."

Dipu Moni also said there will be no honors-master's degree in all colleges, except for good ones.

The Bill was passed for voice vote in parliament following the discussion.
