Prof Muhammed Zafar Iqbal on his way to SUST

Renowned writer and academic Professor Muhammed Zafar Iqbal is on his way to Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST).

He may express solidarity with the protesting students of the university.

He left for Sylhet at 9:00pm on a bus, his personal assistant Mohammad Joynal Abedin told The Daily Star.

"Sir and madam left for Sylhet on a bus at 9:00pm. They will go to SUST campus," he said.
