“Ka” unit admission test at DU tomorrow

63 applicants to vie for one seat

The "Ka" Unit admission test of Dhaka University for the 2021-22 academic year will be held tomorrow (10 June, 2022).

This year, 63 applicants will vie for one seat in the unit as a total of 1,15,726 admission seekers registered against 1,851 seats, reports our DU correspondent.

The scheduled exam will start from 11am and continue till 12:30pm, said a press release issued by Public Relations office of the university.

The entry test will be held in eight divisional at the following venues -- Dhaka University, Rajshahi University, Chittagong University, Khulna University, Barishal University, Begum Rokeya University, Bangladesh Agricultural University, and Shahjalal University of Science and Technology.

The "Ka" unit exam will be held under a total of five institutes and five faculties, including faculty of Science, Biological Sciences, Pharmacy, Earth and Environmental Sciences, and Engineering and Technology.

The five institutes are Statistical Research and Training, Nutrition and Food Science, Information Technology, Leather Engineering and Technology, and Education and Research Institutes.

DU Vice Chancellor Prof M Akhtaruzzaman will inspect the Curzon Hall of Dhaka University at 11:15am during the exam, said the release.

The "D" admission test unit under the Social Sciences faculty will be held on June 11 and the "Cha" unit (General Knowledge) under Fine Arts exam will be held on June 17.
