Pak shelling kills 1 Indian soldier

An Indian soldier was killed as Pakistani troops opened fire and lobbed mortar shells on forward areas along the Line of Control, the de facto border between the two countries, in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri, Kathua and Poonch districts yesterday, officials said. He is the fourth army man to be killed in Pakistani firing along the LoC in Rajouri and Poonch this month.
