Nigerian troops repel Boko Haram attack

Nigerian troops repelled another attempt by Boko Haram jihadists to overrun a military base in northeast Nigeria, military and civilian sources told AFP yesterday. Dozens of jihadist fighters from an IS-backed Boko Haram faction attacked the base on Sunday in the village of Kekeno, in Borno state.
