Forced cavemen of Syria

“We spent our entire lives working, struggling, building -- and then, in an instant, a war plane destroyed our house with one missile,” said Khadija, who lives now with her husband and two sons in a cave in Syria’s war-ravaged Idlib province near Turkey border. She said she had everything before the war but the 8-year-old war has left her with nothing. And she is not alone. Tens of thousands of civilians have been internally displaced in Idlib alone by the war and many of them are now living in caves and some other strange places to avoid the fighting and relentless bombardments by Syrian, Russian forces as well as rebels and jihadists. The recently captured photos show Khadiza and her family.
