Israeli raid kills 9 in Syria: monitor

At least nine pro-regime fighters died in a suspected Israeli missile strike overnight in northern Syria, a monitor said yesterday. Syrian state media had accused Israel of bombing a military position in Aleppo province late Sunday, in what would be a rare Israeli strike so far north in the war-ravaged country.
