Dog's photo on ITI entrance admit card

An ITI aspirant was in utter shock having found a dog's photo on his admit card, reports the Times of India.

Soumyadip Mahato ,18, after downloading his admit card ITI entrance exam form the official website on saturday, found that it contained his address and other details and a dog's photo instead of his own.

Mahato subsequently contacted the nodal officer for conducting the examinations in the area and was assured of assistance.

Later that evening the dog's photo was removed from his admit card.

Mahato, who passed Higher Secondary Examination this year, finally could appear for the Common Entrance Test (CET) under West Bengal State Council for Vocational Training with the new admit card on Sunday.

An inquiry has been ordered into the incident, the nodal officer said.
