Wall collapse kills 11 in India

Eleven people were killed and many are still feared trapped after compound wall of a godown collapsed in Uparapalayam in Tiruvallur district of India’s southern state Tamil Nadu today.

One person has been rescued by fire tenders and efforts are on to save those who are still trapped under the debris of the wall collapse, the Times of India reports.

Earlier, 61 construction workers were killed in a building collapse in Tamil Nadu's Chennai on June 28.
