Viyellatex CEO made adviser to Green Industry Platform

David Hasanat, chairman and chief executive officer of the Viyella-tex Group,
a leading local business conglomerate, has recently been elected as an adviser to the board of Green Industry Platform.
The platform belongs to the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation. It catalyses and promotes mainstream action on green industry.
“The Green Industry Platform elected me as an adviser for two years,” Hasanat said. His company reduced carbon emission by 25 percent in 2013 compared to the level of 2009, according to an audit report by Germany-based Systain.
