Sexual assault: Resistance ideas pour on social media (video)

Social media continues to be flooded with ideas of resisting sexual assaults following the incident of mass molestation, during Pahela Baishakh celebrations.

Users and online activists have been continuously looking into video footages of the incident to identify the perpetrators of the heinous crime, and have succeeded, while the law enforcers are still clueless.

The users besides identifying the  suspects have gone further to create an awareness amongst the society to stop sexual harassment, by sharing ideas of resistance, posts, placards, photos and videos.

A group of social media users opined girls should know some techniques of self defense to fight any harassment posting videos reflex enhancing exercises and requested girls to follow them.

Another group opines girls should carry sharp objects like paper knifes or fruit knives and immediately wound a perpetrator whenever they attempt to harass

However, many have also suggested using pepper spray, body spray or chili powder to and also to learn to seek help by screaming on spot.

Amid the continuous outcry against sexual assault during Pahela Baishakh celebration, debate also continues in determining which should be the best possible mechanism of resistance.
