Mahfuz Anam on The Daily Star's 24th Anniversary

As The Daily Star celebrated its 24th founding anniversary on March 13 with a call to uphold impartial journalism to move forward and build a prosperous Bangladesh, the newspaper’s editor and publisher Mahfuz Anam reiterated its mission to keep the people informed, without fear or favour, and “with total commitment to serve our beloved Bangladesh”. 

Stressing the need for a free press, he said free press is an inseparable ingredient of a country's successes.
