Two minor girls raped

Two schoolgirls were raped in Rajshahi and Rangpur districts on Sunday and the day before.
A schoolgirl was raped by a youth at Satbaria in Puthia upazila of Rajsshahi on Sunday.
The victim's family members said, Saddam Hossain, a youth of the same village took the girl, a Class IV student at Satbaria Government Primary School, to a nearby field at about 10:00am when she went out to collect flowers and raped her.
Later, the girl disclosed the matter to her mother, reports UNB.
She was first taken to Puthia upazila health complex and later shifted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital for medical test and treatment.
In Rangpur, a 13-year-old schoolgirl was raped allegedly by a youth at Anantaram-Dashgaon village in Pirgachha upazila on Saturday, reports our correspondent.
Police and family sources said, Shihab Mian, 20, of Bolihar village, along with his two accomplices picked up the girl from the area when she was going to her father's grocery shop around 5:00pm.
They then forcibly took her to a nearby lonely place where Shihab violated her.
A case was filed with Pirgachha police station under Women and Children Repression Prevention Act.
Police were raiding different areas to arrest Shihab and his aides Arif Mian, 18, and Nayan Mian, 21, of Bolihar village in the area, said Md Mokbul Hossain, officer in-charge of the PS.
