Internet reacts as GoT reveals “Hodor” origins

Game of Thrones (GoT) fans finally learn the origins of Hodor's one-word vocabulary in a zombie-filled conclusion to Episode 5 which ended with the gentle giant being swarmed by a mob of the undead as he held a door to protect Bran.

Hodor = "Hold the Door." And that’s what Hodor did as he sacrificed himself to save Bran Stark, his human backpack/ vision seeing teen, reports Mashable.

Twitter was crushed harder than a wooden door being hammered by zombies to learn of Hodor's fate and the heartbreaking origin of his nickname, which has permanently changed the way Game of Thrones fans feel about holding the door.
